Overview
In this Mobile Engineer role, you will service and maintain multiple FM sites across Central London to keep buildings safe, compliant, and operational. You will work within the Facilities Management team to deliver high-quality maintenance and respond to faults, while providing strong customer service and clear reporting. The role combines hands-on electrical or mechanical work with occasional installations and project support, plus on-call duties. Responsibilities- Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive works across multiple FM sites
- Diagnose and repair faults on electrical or mechanical systems, depending on your bias
- Ensure all works are completed in line with health & safety regulations and compliance standards
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients and end users
- Complete accurate reporting via CAFM systems and job sheets
- Support with minor installations, upgrades, and project work when required
- Participate in an on-call rota where applicable
- Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation (City & Guilds / NVQ or equivalent)
- 18th Edition (BS 7671)
- Strong experience in electrical maintenance, fault finding, and compliance within FM environments
- Level 3 qualification in Mechanical Engineering / Building Services (City & Guilds / NVQ or equivalent)
- Experience maintaining mechanical systems such as HVAC, pumps, pipework, and plant equipment
- Proven experience working within Facilities Management / Building Services
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Experience working across commercial environments
- Good knowledge of compliance and H&S best practices
- Full UK driving licence
