Model Validation Analyst Intern

Build practical model validation experience with TMX in Montreal through quantitative analysis, data management, and workflow automation. Work hybrid, two to three office days weekly.

As an Intern Analyst, Model Validation, you will support senior team members across quantitative and analytical initiatives. You will develop experience with research, regulatory analysis, data cleansing, database optimization, and model governance. The internship runs from January 4 to April 30, 2027, for four months.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain, cleanse, sort, and structure data for analytics
• Develop Python, SQL, or Matlab scripts for workflow automation
• Support research, regulatory review, and exploratory data analysis
• Review model documentation and preliminary benchmarking checks
• Complete and present a guided term project

Requirements:

• Current undergraduate or graduate enrollment in a quantitative field
• Ability to identify issues and analyze complex problems
• Ability to prepare detailed written reports and recommendations
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities concurrently
• High integrity and ethical conduct
