Modern Desktop Engineer

In this role, you lead the End User Services (EUS) team to design, deploy and support the modern Intune desktop and broader M365 environment. You bridge the Platform and EUS teams, driving vulnerability compliance and high-quality IT service provision. You’ll be the third-line escalation for the Service Desk and contribute to change, documentation and incident resolution. This position offers cross-site collaboration and a direct impact on secure, resilient IT delivery for customers and internal stakeholders.

• Lead design, delivery and support of Intune desktop and M365 environment
• Act as primary third-line escalation for Service Desk
• Manage software packaging and deployment
• Own vulnerability compliance aligned with CE+ & DCC guidelines
• Provide Windows, basic Linux, iOS and Android support
• Deliver advanced M365 administration and SharePoint support
• Provide technical leadership in project teams
• Develop and maintain high-quality technical documentation
• Engage with Change Management process
• Maintain relationships with IT Platform Team
• Ensure high level of service to customers and communicate issues to IT management
• Travel to other Roke sites as needed
• Comply with Roke policies and perform additional duties as required

• Microsoft certifications (MS-900 / MS-102, MD-102, SC-300, AZ-104) or similar would be an advantage
• ITIL v4 Foundation
• Experience with Microsoft OS, Intune, M365, SharePoint
• Linux OS installation and support knowledge
• Powershell familiarity
• Experience with cloud PaaS (Azure, AWS) would be an advantage
• Experience with Incident, Problem and Change Management
