THE MODERN IT SUPPORT ENGINEER OPPORTUNITY

As a Modern IT Support Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting and enhancing the organisation's modern workplace environment while acting as an escalation point for complex technical issues.

• Providing technical escalation support for Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune and end-user computing technologies.
• Assisting with IT projects including cloud migrations, workplace enhancements and technology rollouts.
• Monitoring device compliance and ensuring the ongoing performance and stability of end-user systems.
• Creating and maintaining technical documentation, diagrams and operational procedures.
• Collaborating with wider technology teams to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, cloud and workplace support issues.

YOUR KEY SKILLS

• Previous experience in an IT Support, Modern Workplace, EUC or Infrastructure Support role.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 and Azure technologies.
• Hands-on experience with Intune and modern device management.
• Good knowledge of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS and HTTP/S.
• Experience supporting cloud-based environments and end-user computing technologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to document technical solutions and processes clearly.
• Relevant Microsoft certifications would be advantageous, including:
  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate
  • Microsoft Azure Fundamentals
  • ITIL Foundation
  • Equivalent industry certifications
