MONTREAL [HYBRIDE] - Bilingual Software Asset Management Analyst

We're Hiring a Software Asset Management (SAM) Analyst, for one of our clients, an investment bank based in Montreal

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure software license compliance and support internal SAM processes.
• Maintain accurate records of license entitlements, contracts, keys, vendor portals, and more.
• Respond to license-related inquiries (usage, availability, audits, deployment).
• Generate reports on licensing rights, deployments, renewals, compliance gaps, etc.
• Support external software vendor audits and contribute to internal audit readiness.
• Help develop and implement global SAM policies to reduce compliance risk and improve process efficiency.
• Track and reconcile licenses across a variety of software vendors (e.g., Microsoft, Adobe, Oracle, IBM).
• Provide support to software owners, developers, and management teams.

Skills & Knowledge:

• 1+ year experience in Software Asset Management or software licensing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with licensing models and agreements (e.g., EULA, Microsoft, Adobe, VMware).
• Experience with tools such as ServiceNow , Microsoft MECM , or other discovery & inventory platforms.
• Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively across teams.
