Pay: CA$50,000.00 - CA$80,000.00 per year

We’re looking for a sharp, detail-oriented Mortgage Underwriter to join our in-office team and play a key role in turning applications into approvals.

What You’ll Do

• Review and process mortgage applications from start to finish
• Collect and verify required documents from clients and brokers
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and lender guidelines
• Communicate directly with brokers, lenders, and clients to resolve questions
• Stay current on lender products, programs, and market changes
• Prepare accurate and complete documentation to support final decisions
• Collaborate with mortgage agents to deliver smooth, fast approvals

What You Bring

• 2+ years mortgage underwriting experience (preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and time-management skills
• Ability to manage multiple files with deadlines
• Familiarity with platforms such as Filogix, Velocity, Scarlett and Trello
