Move-Add-Change IT Engineer – Quant Trading

Overview

In this role you will install and deploy end-user PCs, manage assets, and support onboarding and relocation of desktop technology in a fast-paced quant trading environment. You will contribute to infrastructure expansion and rollout new end-user technologies, using automated tooling to minimize trading floor downtime. The position offers an evening shift (3pm–11pm, Mon–Fri) at a London-based, globally recognized firm that values intelligent, team-oriented technologists. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to maintain reliable IT support and project delivery, while developing your technical and project-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Setting up and deploying PCs for end users
• Managing assets and procurement processes
• Assist in user onboarding procedures
• Relocate desktop technology efficiently
• Contribute to infrastructure expansion projects
• Participate in the development and rollout of new technologies for end users
• Use automated tooling to avoid trading floor downtime

• 3+ years of experience in a technology support role (or demonstrated talent via extended studies/volunteer work)
• Proficiency in computer hardware and peripherals
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Customer-first mentality with reliable, courteous team play
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
