Overview

In this role you guide enterprise clients through data platform modernisation using Microsoft Fabric. You will define strategies, design robust architectures, and implement best practices in collaboration with client partners and cross-functional teams. You help drive data democratisation, advanced analytics, and AI-driven insights at scale. You work in a fast-evolving environment, contributing to the client’s data modernization journey and keeping NTT DATA at the forefront of data innovation. This is a client-facing, impact-driven engineering leadership position.

Key requirements
  • Proven expertise in designing and implementing Microsoft Fabric architectures for enterprise clients
  • Strong consulting values with the ability to interface effectively with senior stakeholders
  • Hands-on experience with SQL, ETL/ELT pipelines, and BI/analytics tools
  • Deep understanding of the data lifecycle (ingestion, storage, processing, governance, consumption)
  • Ability to link business objectives with technology strategy and execution
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
  • Experience leading data modernisation initiatives across multiple sectors (e.g., banking, insurance, telecom, public sector, manufacturing, retail)
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Fabric core features
  • Proficiency in cloud ecosystems (Azure) and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform)
  • Experience with data security, governance, and compliance frameworks
  • Expertise in large-scale ETL/ELT pipeline implementation using custom and packaged tools
  • Experience: 7–10 years in data architecture/engineering/consulting; 1–2 years in Microsoft Fabric solution architecture
  • Education: University degree; Preferred BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Data Engineering; Microsoft Fabric certification desirable
