Municipal Syndicate Operations Analyst

Support US Municipal new issues in Bedford through settlement accuracy, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance for syndicate offerings. Communicate frequently with trading desks.

This full time analyst position supports RBC’s US Municipal new issue business within Capital Markets. You will coordinate settlements, funding, transaction records, and communications across syndicate activity. The work focuses on minimizing operational, regulatory, and reputational risk while enabling seamless desk execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Acquire DTC eligibility and liaise with transfer agents
• Prepare settlement letters, expenses, profit and loss
• Wire settlement monies and pay vendor invoices
• Communicate with syndicate members and disburse fees
• Record transactions, statistics, and deal details accurately

Requirements:

• One to two years of experience with background check validations
• Excellent problem identification and resolution skills
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize work against deadlines
• Team player approach
