Overview

As a MySQL DBA in a fintech startup environment, you will shape the database architecture for private cloud and drive a secure path to the public cloud. You’ll work within the core development team to plan and implement scalable data solutions, while coordinating global database operations across regions. You focus on reliability, performance, and incident management as you help design the technical roadmap. This role offers exposure to cutting-edge cloud migrations and a fast-paced, innovation-driven culture.

Responsibilities
  • Architect, develop, and implement a separation strategy for private cloud databases
  • Oversee secure and robust transition of databases to the public cloud
  • Contribute to the future technical roadmap and architectural direction
  • Troubleshoot issues and manage incident escalations (including out-of-hours)
  • Promote production change management processes and procedures
  • Interface with stakeholders across the business on global database initiatives
