Schedule: 24-hour rounding with out-of-house call
Setting: Level III NICU
NICU Beds: 35
Average Daily Census: patients
Support: 24/7 Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) coverage

Clinical Details:

  • Provide neonatal care in a Level III NICU
  • Collaborate with NNPs and pediatric hospitalists
  • In-house pediatric subspecialty support, including Cardiology, Nephrology, Pediatric Surgery, and Endocrinology

Requirements:

  • MD/DO
  • Board Certified in Neonatology
  • Minimum 1 year of post-fellowship clinical experience
  • Recent neonatology experience within the past 12 months
  • Active Texas medical license or IMLC accepted
  • BLS certification required
  • Must have been clinically active within the past year
