Overview

In this role you will design and lead the architecture of a social messaging platform, focusing on scalable .NET systems and cloud-native services. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to expand the product into UK/European markets and to modernize the tech stack. You’ll shape architectural decisions across backend, frontend, and data services, enabling rapid delivery and reliability. This is a growth-focused opportunity with strong training and a path to impact a high-profile product.

Responsibilities
  • Define and drive the .NET architecture for the platform, including microservices and cloud components
  • Collaborate with frontend teams (Angular, Vue.js, TypeScript) and backend services to ensure cohesive delivery
  • Contribute to testing practices (TDD/BDD, Agile/Scrum/Kanban) and promote quality and maintainability
  • Support expansion into UK/European markets through scalable, resilient solutions
  • Leverage Docker, Kubernetes, Azure/AWS to deploy and manage services
  • Mentor and train teams on new technologies and best practices
  • Participate in performance tuning, security considerations, and data storage strategy
  • Engage with stakeholders to align product goals with architectural choices
  • Stay current with technology trends and enable rapid iteration through training opportunities
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation in delivery pipelines
