Overview

In this role you will help modernise and extend secure software platforms, working within a collaborative engineering team. You will contribute across the full development lifecycle, improving performance and shaping future architecture. The position offers remote or Hull-based flexibility and a chance to influence technical direction within a growing MS tech stack. You’ll tackle sustaining legacy systems while delivering new features at scale, in a supportive, innovation-driven culture.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain applications using C# and ASP.NET
  • Build scalable solutions with .NET Framework and .NET Core
  • Design and develop RESTful APIs and microservices
  • Work with SQL Server databases, writing efficient queries and optimising performance
  • Collaborate with developers, testers and stakeholders in an Agile environment
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical best practice
  • Support the continuous improvement of existing applications and development processes
Key requirements
  • 3+ years' commercial experience with C#
  • Strong ASP.NET, .NET Framework and .NET Core experience
  • SQL Server and database design
  • REST APIs and microservices
  • JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5 and CSS3
  • Experience working within Agile/Scrum teams
  • Collaborative mindset
  • Effective communication with stakeholders
