.NET Developer

Arcus Search are currently working with a Leeds-based consultancy that’s looking to hire a .NET Developer on an initial 3-month fixed-term contract, with a strong likelihood of extension into a longer-term engagement. The end client is a well-known financial services organisation, and the work is genuinely interesting, modern tech, Azure-heavy, and part of a solid delivery team.

Role Details

• Role: .NET Developer
• Salary: £70,000 (pro-rated monthly)
• Location: Leeds (3 days per week onsite)
• Contract: Initial 3-month FTC, extension likely

What you’ll be doing

• Building and maintaining applications using C# and .NET Core / .NET Framework
• Working with Azure services (App Services, Functions, Logic Apps, Azure SQL, etc.)
• Taking part in architecture discussions and code reviews
• Troubleshooting and optimising applications for performance and scalability
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver projects end-to-end

What we’re looking for

• Strong experience with C#, ASP.NET Core, and .NET Framework
• Hands-on experience with Azure (App Services, Functions, Storage, Key Vault, etc.)
• Good understanding of REST APIs, Entity Framework, and LINQ
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps)
• Docker / Kubernetes experience is a bonus, not a must
