Responsibilities

  • Strong technical networking knowledge of LAN switching/topologies, routing protocols, VPNs, IPSec, hardware encryption, MPLS, and BGP.
  • Good working knowledge of Cisco/Juniper products, JUNOS operating system, and Cisco IOS. Ideally with industry-recognized certifications such as CCNA/CCNP or JNCIS-ENT.
  • Demonstrable network device configuration skills, troubleshooting expertise, and a structured approach to defect resolution.
  • Proven design experience using technologies from global vendors (e.g., Cisco, Juniper), including production of quality technical documentation.
  • Solid understanding of project life cycle — from requirements gathering through design, implementation, deployment, and transition to operational service.
  • Ability to support service and project management with accurate task estimation, scheduling, and progress reporting to ensure timely delivery.
  • Strong communication skills, able to engage with multiple stakeholders, take ownership, and make informed decisions. Experience in the defence sector is an advantage.
