Network & Telephony Engineer

Permanent Role

Hybrid - Shrewsbury/Telford (1-2 days per week)

We're looking for a Network & Telephony Lead to take ownership of a key network and telephony environment across multiple sites. This is a hands-on technical leadership role. You'll be expected to investigate complex issues, configure and design infrastructure, lead projects independently and provide technical direction to junior colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, configuration and delivery of network, security and telephony solutions.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues across LAN, WAN and telephony environments.
  • Lead multiple projects from discovery through to implementation, managing technical and deployment risks.
  • Act as the technical authority for the environment and provide guidance to junior team members.
  • Support migrations and upskill permanent technical staff.

Essential Technical Experience

  • Aruba Networking, Aruba ClearPass & FreeRADIUS
  • Cisco & FortiGate Firewalls
  • Mitel VoIP - physical and softphone environments
