Overview
In this role you will design, automate, and monitor a global, multi-vendor network to support high availability for trading workflows. You will work with technology and investment teams to deliver solutions aligned with business needs and define best practices. Expect exposure to cutting-edge observability and automation, with on-call and out-of-hours responsibilities in a fast-paced trading environment. You will contribute to continuous improvement and scalable network operations that underpin market activity and performance.
Responsibilities- Develop scalable network capabilities through automation and comprehensive monitoring
- Design, implement and maintain a global, multi-vendor trading network
- Collaborate with technology and investment teams to align solutions with business needs
- Define and implement standards and best practices
- Serve as escalation point for network troubleshooting
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation and out-of-hours maintenance
- Extensive experience in network observability and automation
- Proficiency with Prometheus, Grafana, Telegraf, Cisco Telemetry, gNMI, YANG
- Solid understanding of Zabbix, LibreNMS, SNMP
- Experience with Netbox, Ansible, Jinja, Python, Git, NETCONF, RESTCONF, Temporal, Terraform
- Knowledge of network infrastructure in AWS
- Experience with BGP, OSPF, PIM, IGMP
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a high-pressure trading environment
