In this role, you deliver and maintain secure voice and data services for BT Group’s DFTS customers, ensuring reliability, safety and high service standards. You work closely with customers and cross-functional teams to resolve faults quickly and keep services running smoothly. The role supports BT’s customer-first mission by improving performance and experience in regulated environments. You will travel to customer sites, participate in on-call and occasional overnight stays, and contribute to continuous improvements in how we work. This is a hands-on, field-based engineering position that combines technical delivery with strong customer collaboration.

- Install, maintain and repair secure voice and data services for DFTS customers
- Respond to service faults and restore connections safely and quickly
- Carry out planned work to standards, timescales and safety requirements
- Collaborate with customers and support teams to resolve issues first time
- Keep accurate records of work, materials, and updates
- Follow security, compliance and site access processes
- Share knowledge with the team and seek process improvements
- Travel between customer sites and participate in on-call support, with potential overnight stays
- Experience installing, maintaining or repairing voice, data or network services
- Ability to work safely, follow processes and resolve customer service issues
- Good communication with customers, colleagues and support teams
- Willingness to learn new tools, systems and ways of working
- Ability to plan work, manage priorities and keep accurate records
- Flexibility for out-of-hours work and travel
