Network Engineer

In this role you design, implement, and support enterprise WAN, LAN, wireless and secure connectivity. You’ll lead network projects from design to handoff, ensure reliable and secure solutions, and collaborate with Security, Project, and Operations teams. You’ll drive improvements in stability, performance, and efficiency, while shaping enterprise network standards and best practices. This is a role for a hands-on engineer who can influence architecture at scale and mentor others.

• Design, plan, and implement enterprise WAN, LAN, wireless, and remote access networks per architecture standards
• Lead technical delivery of assigned network projects from detailed design through implementation and handover
• Create and maintain detailed low-level design docs, diagrams, and handover materials
• Assess performance/capacity to meet current and near-term business needs
• Provide third-level support for complex incidents, with root-cause analysis and permanent fixes
• Analyze incidents to identify systemic issues and prevent recurrence
• Collaborate with Security to incorporate security/compliance into designs and mitigate vulnerabilities
• Work with vendors and internal teams for designs, troubleshooting, and escalations
• Advance service quality through automation and software/hardware improvements using Python and network tools
• Provide training and mentorship to network support engineers and contribute to knowledge bases

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5 years of enterprise network engineering experience
• Expert-level knowledge of BGP and OSPF
• Advanced Cisco routing and switching in large enterprises
• Advanced Arista switching
• Advanced knowledge of WAN, LAN, wireless, MPLS and TCP/IP networking
• Advanced experience with Cisco VPN networking
• Strong troubleshooting, planning, and problem-solving skills
