Network Engineer

In this role you will maintain and enhance the LAN/WAN infrastructure while delivering network projects, including office moves. You will design and manage Cisco-based networks, enforce security policies, and work with IT and security teams to mitigate risks. You’ll stay current with trends to keep the network robust and compliant with regulatory standards. The position offers hybrid working and a focus on hands-on implementation and cross-functional collaboration.

• Design, implement, and manage complex network infrastructure using Cisco 9300 series and Nexus switches
• Configure, deploy, and maintain Palo Alto Prisma Access firewall policies for secure access
• Administer and configure FortiGate firewalls for security and threat management
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues to maintain health
• Develop and enforce network security policies, standards
• Collaborate with IT and security teams to assess and mitigate risks
• Provide advanced technical support and manage changes with third-party MSPs
• Stay current with industry trends to keep infrastructure up-to-date
• Comply with relevant legal and regulatory obligations including SRA standards and regulations

• 5+ years of experience in networking
• In-depth knowledge of Layer 2/3, BGP, OSPF
• Experience with Cisco Catalyst and Nexus switches
• Working knowledge of Palo Alto Prisma Access and SD-WAN
• Azure and Cisco qualifications
• Proficiency with Cisco ISE (AAA)
• Experience with Cisco Wireless Controllers and WLAN configurations
• Familiarity with FortiGate products (desirable)
• HLD/LLD documentation skills
• ITIL knowledge
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud stack
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
