Network Engineer

Salary: $90,000 - 110,000 per year

• Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5 years of experience in network administration or engineering
• Experience with enterprise-scale or multi-site networks
• CCNA certification required; CCNP certification strongly preferred
• CompTIA Network+ and Security+ certifications are advantageous
• Knowledge of cloud networking (AWS/Azure) is a plus
• Proficiency with Cisco IOS/Meraki, firewall and switch management (Cisco, SonicWALL, Brocade, Fortinet)
• Familiarity with VPNs, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, and network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, DataDog)

• Design, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure across various locations
• Implement and oversee routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless solutions
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and enhance traffic flow
• Enforce and maintain network security protocols, including firewall rules and intrusion prevention systems
• Collaborate with IT teams on infrastructure projects, cloud integrations, and disaster recovery planning
• Keep precise documentation of network architecture, configurations, and procedures
• Provide Tier 3 support for escalated network issues
