Overview
In this role you will maintain and design global networks for a leading high-frequency trading client, enabling low-latency connectivity and robust performance. You will collaborate with software engineers to align networks with trading strategies and exchange connectivity needs. The position offers a non-bureaucratic environment with broad autonomy to deliver impactful network solutions. You will work in a fast, technology-driven setting with a focus on scalability and reliability.
Responsibilities- Maintain and operate global networks across multiple locations
- Design networks for new offices and data centres
- Identify and implement low-latency networking solutions
- Provide support and troubleshooting for network technologies
- Analyze performance issues and optimize networks
- Collaborate with traders and engineers to tailor connectivity to exchanges
- 4+ years in a trade environment
- Strong knowledge of client-server architectures and network design
- Expert Cisco NX-OS/IOS skills
- Multicast Networking
- BGP, OSPF, MSDP, PIM protocols
- CCNP certified
- Unix/Linux proficiency
- Python or other scripting
- Experience with VPNs (IPSEC, GRE)
- Problem-solving mindset and delivering solutions to complex issues
