Overview
In this role you will design, implement and support secure, resilient network environments with a core focus on Fortinet technologies. You will work within the network infrastructure team to ensure uptime, performance and security across LAN/WAN, VPNs and firewalls. You’ll resolve complex incidents, perform upgrades and contribute to design and documentation efforts. This position offers hands-on Fortinet work in a hybrid London setting, contributing to secure, scalable connectivity. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet security and operational standards.
Responsibilities- Configure, manage and troubleshoot FortiGate firewalls and Fortinet security solutions
- Manage firewall policies, NAT, VPNs, routing and security rules
- Support LAN/WAN, switching, routing and network security infrastructure
- Monitor network performance, availability and security
- Investigate and resolve complex network incidents and outages
- Perform network changes, upgrades and security improvements
- Assist with network design, documentation and infrastructure projects
- Ensure network environments meet security and operational standards
- Strong commercial experience as a Network Engineer
- Hands-on experience with Fortinet / FortiGate environments
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing and switching
- Experience with firewalls, VPNs, NAT and network security
- Experience troubleshooting complex network issues
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
