Overview
In this role you will design, deploy, and maintain trading and business network infrastructure to support low-latency operations. You’ll collaborate with Technology and Trading teams to evolve networking and security, ensuring high uptime and robust performance. You’ll monitor latency and throughput, automate routine tasks, and contribute to the evolving network strategy in a fast, open environment. This is a technically intense role at a market-leading HFT firm with a strong emphasis on scalable, open-source-enabled systems.

- Build, manage and maintain network infrastructure locally and in remote data centers
- Collaborate with Technology and Trading to evolve networking and security systems
- Monitor networks for latency, throughput and efficient utilization
- Automate repetitive network administration tasks
- Diagnose and troubleshoot systems to provide recommendations for the future
- Collaborate with technology and trading staff and contribute to vision and direction
- Experience of Trading Networking
- Multicast
- 3+ years of network engineering experience
- Experience with Cisco switches and products
- Knowledge and troubleshooting of IP Networking
- Knowledge of route exchange protocols such as BGP and OSPF, Layer 2 switching and firewalls
- Experience working with multi-vendor and multi-technology WAN
- Outstanding communication skills
- Ability to present complex ideas clearly
