Network Engineer – Trading

In this role you will support and optimize on-premise data centres and networks to ensure availability, security, and smooth operations at scale. You will work with leading devices from Arista, Fortinet, Cisco, Juniper and A10 to build high-performing, low-latency networks across regions. You’ll drive automation and standard configuration management to sustain resilient infrastructure for a fast-paced trading environment. • Support on-prem data centres and networks
• Ensure availability, security, automation, and ongoing operations of the network
• Work with Arista, Fortinet, Cisco, Juniper and A10 devices
• Assist in building high-performing, resilient, low-latency networks across multiple regions
• Drive efficient deployment and standard configuration management through automation
• Troubleshoot issues and handle incident escalations, with emphasis on production change management

• Experience with low-latency networks using Arista switches, Fortinet firewalls, Cisco routing and switching, Juniper SRX, A10 Load Balancers, Cisco ASA Firewalls, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, Corvil
• Coding and network automation experience (Python, Ansible, Jinja2)
• Advanced routing knowledge: BGP, OSPF, EVPN, VRFs, VXLAN, route leaking and filtering, IPsec VPNs, NATs, IPv6, multicast
• Knowledge of Rest APIs, Git, SSL certificates, DNS, LDAP, DHCP and Linux
• Network certificates such as CCNA, CCNP or Fortinet NSE4/7 beneficial
