Network Infrastructure Analyst

Support secure network infrastructure as a full-time Network Infrastructure Analyst across RCCDSB administration buildings, schools, and communities. Apply routing, switching, and wireless expertise daily.

Reporting to the Manager of Technology and Security Services, the Network Analyst maintains connectivity, availability, hardware, telecommunications, and monitoring across Board sites. The position supports infrastructure projects, technical operations, and accurate documentation while escalating enterprise systems, identity, server, cloud, and application architecture matters. RCCDSB operates two administration buildings and 20 schools serving 13 communities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, controllers, access points, and cabling
• Administer LAN, WAN, WLAN, and data communications networks
• Monitor performance, availability, capacity, and reliability
• Support segmentation, firewall rules, logging, and vulnerability remediation
• Maintain topology diagrams, inventories, addressing schemes, and change records

Requirements:

• Two-year diploma or equivalent in networking or information technology
• At least three years of network administration or infrastructure experience
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, switching, and wireless
• Hands-on firewall, monitoring software, and diagnostic utilities experience
• Valid Ontario Class G licence and insured vehicle access
