Network Infrastructure Consultant

In this role you build and optimize our enterprise network, spanning on-premise and cloud environments. You will design scalable architectures, lead deployments, and ensure performance, security, and resilience. You’ll work with IT peers, vendors, and stakeholders to align networking with Accenture’s technology strategy and cloud initiatives. This position offers leadership of large-scale projects and the opportunity to shape hybrid cloud networking and automation at scale.

• Design, implement, and manage robust network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, WiFi, and cloud networking
• Lead design and deployment of scalable network architectures across multiple sites and cloud environments
• Implement secure network architectures for hybrid cloud environments
• Architect and manage cloud networking solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Ensure high availability and performance of network services in cloud contexts with VPNs, direct connections, and VNFs
• Develop cloud-to-cloud and hybrid cloud architectures with focus on security and cost optimization
• Utilize automation tools and scripting (Ansible, Python, Terraform) to improve deployment and operations
• Develop network automation strategies and integrate network automation within IaC practices
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot to minimize downtime
• Enforce network security policies and regulatory compliance (NIST, PCI-DSS, GDPR)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors; mentor junior engineers
• Provide leadership on large-scale network projects and explore AI applications in networking

• Network design, implementation, and optimization experience (enterprise level)
• Cloud networking expertise (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Strong routing, switching, and network segmentation knowledge
• Experience with automation and IaC (Ansible, Python, Terraform)
• Security and compliance focus (NIST, PCI-DSS, GDPR)
• Collaboration with IT, cybersecurity, cloud architects, and vendors; leadership capabilities
• Mentoring junior engineers and leading large projects
• Experience with AI applications in networking (desirable)
