Network Operations Center Engineer

Please note that this is a fully on site role, and candidates for this role are required to hold an active security clearance.

The role

Hexegic are looking for a skilled network operations engineer, with a leaning towards Linux based infrastructure. This role would be suitable for a proactive and reliable communicator who is detail oriented, technically capable and comfortable supporting multiple teams.

Core Responsibilities

• Manage and triage alerts ensuring they are routed to correct teams
• Support the securer movement of files between systems operating at different classifications
• Manage data transfers and deploy upgrades to systems
• Remain available to support engineering teams, providing assistance, updates and coordination to resolve issues efficiently
• Build strong working relationships with teams and individuals requiring support

What we are looking for

• Previous experience in a NOC environment
• Understanding and experience in Linux infrastructure
• Strong interest in software development and DevOps work
• Experience with RedHat Linux distributions is ideal
