- Optimise water network performance using bottom-up analysis, DOMS, and hydraulic modelling to ensure efficient and compliant operation
- Lead risk and investment planning, escalating issues through Integrated Asset Planning (IAP)
- Provide technical and engineering support across teams and contractors, supporting incident response and capital/non-core maintenance schemes
- Ensure service delivery and regulatory compliance by managing actions, DG2 performance, planning applications, and pressure/flow standards
- Support strategy and team development by implementing regional plans, maintaining network schematics, and training staff
- Decisive problem solving for complex technical and analytical challenges
- Extensive water network experience or equivalent technical capability with hands-on project delivery
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, asset management, capital investment, and financial procedures
- Proficiency with business systems mentioned (My Risk, Netbase, MapInfo, INS, Water Quality Infobank, SharePoint) plus Excel and Microsoft Office
- Working knowledge of hydraulic modelling and applying analytical techniques to optimise the network and assess risk
