Network Security Architect Load Balancing

Lead enterprise network security architecture at Enbridge, specializing in load balancing and internet-facing environments. This regular full-time position supports secure, resilient platforms.

As a Network and Perimeter Security IT Specialist I, you will provide technical leadership across load balancing, firewalls, Azure Front Door, IPS, WAF, and PKI. You will guide enterprise standards, security design, risk management, and operational resilience. The work spans enterprise, SCADA, and control systems environments, with collaboration across cybersecurity, infrastructure, operations, and application teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define enterprise network security architecture, standards, and control frameworks
• Lead security designs for cloud transformations and M&A integrations
• Advise on network security risk, compliance, and audit readiness
• Manage load balancer and network security infrastructure upgrades
• Support continuity, disaster recovery, and on-call operations

Requirements:

• University degree or technical diploma with six-plus years’ experience
• Expertise with Citrix Netscalers, F5 BigIP, and Azure Front Door
• Experience with firewalls, IPS, WAF, PKI, DNS, and encryption
• Knowledge of UNIX environments and Bash or Python scripting
• Strong networking, documentation, analytical, and communication skills
