Network Security Infrastructure Specialist

Network security infrastructure is central to this Montreal role with Alteo, covering firewalls, WAFs, VPN tunnels, and operational availability. The position is permanent.

As a Network / Security Specialist, you will help define and implement security procedures and processes. You will maintain network and security infrastructure while supporting performance and availability SLAs. Your work includes incident analysis, architecture maintenance, security metrics, and infrastructure evolution planning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer network security-related services
• Monitor performance and availability key performance indicators
• Maintain network architecture and asset inventories
• Analyze and resolve first- and second-level incidents
• Organize security attack simulations

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, networking, or telecommunications
• Three to five years in networking and IT security
• Expertise with firewalls, WAFs, and network security tools
• Proficiency setting up and administering VPN tunnels
• Knowledge of Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, and VoIP
