Network Security Specialist Montreal

Protect network infrastructure in Montreal with Alteo, applying security procedures, VPN administration, and availability monitoring. This permanent position supports operational reliability.

As a Network / Security Specialist, you will help define, implement, and maintain network security processes and infrastructure. The position involves administering security services, analyzing incidents, and monitoring performance and availability. You will also support network architecture, documentation, capacity planning, and security information sharing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer network security-related services
• Monitor performance and availability KPIs
• Analyze and resolve first- and second-level incidents
• Maintain network asset inventories and infrastructure documentation
• Organize security attack simulations and validate resolutions

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, networking, or telecommunications
• Three to five years in networking and IT security
• Expertise with firewalls, WAFs, and network security tools
• Proficiency setting up and administering VPN tunnels
• Knowledge of Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, VoIP, and VMware ESXi
