Network Site Reliability Engineer

As a Network SRE in Quant Capital's Shared Engineering team, you will design, build, and maintain robust network and datacenter infrastructure to support high-performance trading. You will work across teams to expand global infrastructure and simplify complex systems through automation. You will diagnose outages, perform root cause analyses, and implement scalable solutions while continuously learning new techniques. • Design and develop network and datacenter infrastructure with clear, scalable architectures
• Support high-performance trading by addressing outages and performing root cause analyses
• Expand global infrastructure and automate complex operations
• Continuously learn new knowledge and ideas and apply them
• Manage projects independently with effective time management

• Strong network engineering and architecture capabilities
• Expertise in switch internals, Ethernet, IP routing, VPN, tunneling, routing protocols, firewall configuration, and debugging
• Proficiency in network automation, management, and monitoring via API transports
• Ability to code beyond scripting, particularly in Python or Go
• Ability to identify and mitigate network risks and issues
• Comfort with the Linux command line
• Proven track record of handling complex projects with minimal oversight
