Network Specialist

In this role you support enterprise network operations to ensure stable, high-performance infrastructure across a multi-site environment. You will work in a hybrid setup in Calgary (3 days onsite) while collaborating with a Montreal-based teammate to align network architecture with broader IT and cloud strategies. You’ll handle day-to-day operations, incident response, and participate in hardware deployments and improvement initiatives. Your work emphasizes automation, vulnerability triage, and cross-functional teamwork to drive reliable network services. This contract offers a pathway to full-time conversion based on performance and impact.

• Design, configure, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure across Cisco, Meraki, and SolarWinds to meet high availability standards
• Support network projects including hardware deployments and infrastructure upgrades while managing day-to-day operations and incidents
• Analyze vulnerability reports and alerts, leveraging automation to improve efficiency
• Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to align network architecture with broader infrastructure and cloud goals
• Monitor network health with SolarWinds and support capacity planning and proactive issue resolution
• Participate in on-call support as needed
• Complete other related tasks as assigned

• Hands-on experience in Cisco networking environments and device configuration
• Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds)
• Familiarity with vulnerability reporting and alert triage
• Ability to contribute to technical projects within a team (not required to lead)
• On-call rotation availability
• Fluency in French and English (spoken and written)
• Ability to work onsite in Montreal three days per week (hybrid)
