Salary: £47,000 - 87,000 per year
Requirements:
- Experience in supply chain, logistics, network planning, business analytics or a similar analytical environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex datasets and identify actionable insights.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience using analytical tools such as Power BI, SQL or similar platforms.
- A good understanding of warehouse operations, transport networks and fulfilment processes.
- Experience building forecasts, models, business cases or scenario-based analysis.
- Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to analysing data and drawing conclusions.
- The ability to communicate complex information in a simple and engaging way to a variety of stakeholders.
- Confidence working across functions and building effective relationships with colleagues at all levels.
- A proactive mindset, with a passion for continuous improvement and finding opportunities to enhance performance.
- Curiosity about emerging technologies, automation and future supply chain trends.
- The ability to balance strategic thinking with practical recommendations that deliver business value.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting the development and continuous improvement of our supply chain network strategy through detailed analysis and modelling.
- Conducting network modelling and scenario analysis to evaluate distribution, fulfilment and transportation strategies.
- Analysing operational and commercial data to identify opportunities to improve network effectiveness, service and cost performance.
- Supporting strategic network design projects with data collection, analysis, forecasting and recommendations.
- Developing capacity forecasts and analysing business growth plans to support long-term planning.
- Monitoring network utilisation and identifying potential capacity constraints across warehouse and transport operations.
- Creating reports, dashboards and performance metrics that provide visibility of key network trends and performance indicators.
- Producing financial, operational and sensitivity analysis to support business cases and investment decisions.
- Supporting evaluations of automation solutions, emerging technologies and innovative fulfilment models.
- Collaborating with stakeholders across the business to validate assumptions and translate insights into practical recommendations.
- Presenting analytical findings clearly and confidently to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Contributing to continuous improvement and transformation initiatives that support the future growth of the business.
