Network Support

In this role you will support and improve the organisation’s network and server infrastructure within a large enterprise IT team. You’ll work across a broad set of technologies, balancing daily operational tasks with infrastructure projects. You will collaborate with colleagues to design, implement and maintain LAN/WAN, servers, and security controls while contributing to documentation and knowledge sharing. • Support servers, networks, firewalls, backup platforms and core infrastructure services
• Act as a key escalation point for technical support issues
• Monitor systems to proactively identify issues
• Support design and implementation of LAN, WAN and wireless networks
• Deliver infrastructure improvements and IT projects alongside BAU
• Manage Active Directory, Group Policy and Microsoft server environments
• Maintain network security and firewall administration
• Produce technical documentation and user guidance
• Support colleagues with technology adoption and training
• Participate in on-call rota for critical incidents
