Overview

In this role you will lead the design, deployment, and optimization of complex multi-vendor network and security solutions. You will produce high- and low-level designs, manage implementation plans, and ensure risk-controlled changes. Acting as the primary technical liaison, you’ll mentor engineers, drive PoC testing, and deliver handover-ready runbooks. You contribute to client-facing design decisions and collaborate with cross-functional teams to secure scalable, reliable networks aligned with business goals.

Responsibilities
  • Lead design and hands-on implementation of complex, multi-vendor network and security solutions across environments
  • Create High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documentation suitable for sign-off
  • Develop detailed implementation plans and change records aligned with change management
  • Author operational runbooks for handover to operations and support teams
  • Perform design validation, PoC testing, and pre/post-implementation verification
  • Configure, deploy, and optimize network and security infrastructure across vendor platforms
  • Diagnose and resolve complex multi-layer network and security incidents
  • Conduct capacity planning and risk-based assessments with improvement recommendations
  • Escalate unresolved issues to third parties and coordinate vendor engagement
  • Act as primary technical lead and coach for engineers and technicians
  • Present designs to technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior leadership
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, client security teams, and operations to ensure delivery
  • Manage technical scope, expectations, and dependencies throughout project lifecycle
  • Engage vendors for escalations or bugs during deployments
Key requirements
  • Advanced understanding of technical design and business principles

  • Advanced experience in networking implementations (routing, switching, Wireless, SDI distribution, core and access)
  • Advanced client engagement and presentation skills
  • Advanced coaching and mentoring ability
  • Ownership mindset as technical lead during project lifecycles
  • Advanced troubleshooting and diagnosis capabilities
  • Bachelor in Information Technology or Computing
  • Professional networking certifications (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, F5, CCIE, JNCIE, ACMP)
  • Cisco DevNet certification desirable
