Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Neurologist to perform medical disability evaluations, including Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and general medicine examinations. This is an evaluation-only role focused on providing thorough, objective, and evidence-based medical assessments in accordance with applicable clinical and regulatory standards. The position does not involve prescribing medications, active treatment, or ongoing continuity of care.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive disability compensation evaluations.

Perform TBI and general medical examinations.

Review relevant medical records and clinical evidence.

Prepare accurate, timely, and detailed clinical documentation.

Provide clear, evidence-based medical opinions and causation analyses.

Ensure all evaluations and reports comply with applicable regulatory and clinical guidelines.

Qualifications

Board-eligible or board-certified Neurologist.

Active, unrestricted medical license in the state of residence.

Louisiana medical license preferred; eligible candidates without a Louisiana license may receive a temporary waiver period to apply for licensure.

Strong clinical assessment, medical documentation, and analytical skills.

Comfortable using technology and virtual assessment platforms when required.

Ability to maintain a secure, private workspace and comply with HIPAA requirements.

Schedule

Flexible scheduling, with availability for 3-5 days per week.

Must be willing to travel to the Alexandria, Louisiana area to conduct examinations.
