Neurohospitalist Locums Job in Illinois Holiday Coverage

Pick up a five-day holiday Neurology assignment from December 28-January 2 with an average daily census of just 14 patients. Coverage includes inpatient stroke and general Neurology consults, EEG reads, and on-site coverage until 5 PM. There will be an opportunity for ongoing coverage dates in 2027. Candidates with an active Illinois license are encouraged to apply!

Dates needed: 8:00AM December 28- 8:00AM January 2. (Holiday Pay January 1st)

Details/Requirements:
Inpatient only coverage
Stroke coverage + general Neurology consults
Shift times: 24-hr call, 8a-8a, on-site until 4-5pm
Procedures: EEG reads, Ceribell
Responsibilities: Consults- stroke, seizures, TBI, altered mental status, encephalopathy, etc.
Patients per day: 14-18

Candidate Requirements:
Must be Board Certified
Must have active Illinois license

Primary Stroke Center
Level II Trauma Center
