Neurology Physician

A health system in the Columbus, Ohio area needs a full-time locum neurologist starting as soon as credentialing allows, running through 2027.

This is outpatient clinic work only. General neurology, 100 percent adult, 100 percent outpatient, averaging 14 patients a day. Monday through Thursday 8a to 4:30p, Friday 7:30a to 4p. No weekends. No call. Ever.

You are not alone in the building. Twelve physicians and four advanced practice providers in the group, with two medical assistants and two front desk staff supporting the clinic. Other neurologists are present throughout your assignment. Epic.

$319.55 an hour, which runs about $13,580 a week at the scheduled hours. Flights, lodging, rental car and fuel are reimbursed, and the client covers one trip home per month.

The ideal fit works every week of every month. They will consider three weeks a month for an exceptional candidate, and a minimum of two to four weeks a month is required.

One thing worth knowing up front: Botox procedures are not available to locum physicians at this site.
