Neurology Locums Job in Utah 24-Hour Call 11/1/2026 - 1/31/2027 Assignment

Coverage Details
November 1, 2026 - January 31, 2027
Seven shifts per month ongoing
Ongoing dates will be determined as schedules are released
Credentialing timeframe is 30-90 days

Shift Details
24-hour call coverage, 7am-7am
Weekend coverage is required
Call coverage is concurrent at two locations
Call response time is 30 minutes
Stroke call coverage is required with a 30-minute response time

Requirements
Board Certified in Neurology
Active Utah license or active IMLC with LOQ
Active ACLS, BLS, and CSR - Highly Preferred; required for credentialing
Active DEA - Highly Preferred (transferred DEA will be considered, but it must be maintained for the duration of the assignment)
Clean malpractice and background history

Required Procedures / Skills
Traditional hospital call for triage and consultation on patients admitted by another service
Occasional in-person patient evaluations

Assignment Details
Inpatient setting
Facility Trauma Level I
Patient population is adult and geriatric
EMR: Epic
Support staff includes an RN
Average anticipated callback time is 2-4 hours
Credentialing with the second location is required
