Neurohospitalist Locums Job in Texas 12-Hour Onsite Coverage and Night Call Beginning November 16 - Ongoing Assignment

Shift Details
Schedule: 12 hours onsite (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM) plus night call (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) with potential callback if necessary
24-hour call coverage weekday/weeknight
2 weeks per month
Requirements
Clean malpractice/background history required for temporary privileges
Required Procedures / Skills
EEG's + EMG's (No EMG machine available)
tPA and TNK
NCVs
Assignment Details
Practice setting: Inpatient / Hospital (Comprehensive Stroke Center - 214 beds)
Coverage scope: Neurohospitalist coverage for main hospital and 2 low-volume Free-Standing Emergency Departments (FSEDs)
Patient population: Adult patients
Daily volume: 12 patients per day
Direct patient care duties: Providers are not required to admit (handled by Hospitalist or ICU physician)
Specialist / Team support: Neurointerventional, Neurocritical Care, Neurosurgery, APPs, and RNs
EMR: Meditech
