New Accountant (Fully Remote)

• Performs a wide variety of accounting work to maintain financial records and prepare reports.
• Supports the Accounting department with GL maintenance, reconciliation, and ad hoc reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Maintains systematic records of credit union transactions and resolves discrepancies.
• Develops workbooks to monitor activity and reconciles assigned general ledger accounts.
• Collaborates with branches and departments to correct transactions and supports audits.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED plus two years of accounting experience in a financial institution.
• Intermediate Excel skills and strong GAAP knowledge required.
• Preferred: Associate degree in Accounting or Finance with financial institution experience.
