Full-Time Nocturnist Bakersfield, CA

• 12-hour night shifts 8 PM 5 AM or 10 PM 7 AM (alternating schedule)
• Only 6 admissions per night on average
• No procedures. No code blue responsibility.
• Patient care handed to intensivist after admission
• Cross-cover floor calls on alternating nights
• 24/7 in-house intensivists and specialty physicians onsite
• Night float program coming soon
• In-house 9 hours, paid for full 12

Requirements :

• MD/DO
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
• Eligible for California medical license (or willing to obtain)
• Comfortable managing hospitalized adult patients
