Overview
In this role you will contribute to building a new open source cloud-based platform for a luxury online fashion house in London. You will work within a cross-functional team to deliver scalable Node.js solutions and APIs, with a focus on backend development while engaging with front-end elements as needed. You’ll operate in a CI-driven environment and leverage modern open source technologies to support a fast-growing ecommerce platform. This is a permanent, London-based opportunity offering a competitive package.

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Node.js applications for a new cloud-based platform
- Ensure deployment and scaling of services in a CI/CD environment
- Collaborate on full-stack development with backend emphasis
- Work with open source databases (MySQL, Redis, MongoDB, CouchDB)
- Integrate web services and APIs to enable platform capabilities
- Support the creation of a scalable, high-performance architecture for ecommerce
Key requirements
- Strong experience with JavaScript and Node.js
- Knowledge of deployment and scaling practices
- Experience in full stack development with backend focus
- Familiarity with open source databases (MySQL, Redis, MongoDB, CouchDB)
