Node.js TypeScript Backend Developer

Build backend systems at RemitBee using Node.js, TypeScript, or Python in a full-time role based in Mississauga, Ontario. Apply testing and API expertise.

With three-plus years of backend experience, you will work alongside developers, QA, DevOps, and founders in an agile team. You will research business and system needs, recommend solution designs, and support Research business requirements. The role covers software development lifecycle participation, from analysis through support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement new systems using leading backend technologies
• Redesign legacy systems for evolving business requirements
• Analyze needs and recommend solution designs
• Write test cases and documentation
• Participate in analysis, programming, testing, implementation, and support

Requirements:

• Three-plus years with Node.js, TypeScript, or Python
• Experience with MySQL or PostgreSQL databases
• Experience developing REST and GraphQL APIs
• Knowledge of Git, automated task runners, and testing
• Open-source contributions and team-management experience
