Overview

As a Non-Functional Test Specialist, you will own and shape NFT strategy for Euroclear’s modernization program within the UK Testing squad. You’ll collaborate with product owners, tech experts, and operations to translate NFRs into test plans, guiding resilience, recovery, and fault tolerance across domains. You’ll lead cross-functional delivery as an SME, applying shift-left practices and coordinating with infrastructure and security teams. This role offers impact by strengthening real-world operational readiness and system robustness at scale.

Responsibilities
  • Define and test non-functional requirements (NFRs) for technology transformation (JAVA, KAFKA, Linux, Cloud, API, Openshift/Kubernetes)
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure NFRs are clear and testable
  • Articulate the Non-Functional Test Strategy and oversee its execution
  • Lead resilience and recovery strategy readiness for operational disruptions
  • Act as SME for NFRs, leading cross-functional teams and owning delivery
  • Adopt shift-left mindset and coordinate NFT testing cycles with external teams
  • Document test results and consolidate into high-level reports
  • Provide hands-on technical support across levels
Key requirements
  • Hands-on planning, preparation, and execution of resilience, disaster recovery, continuity, failover testing, and performance
  • Experience with resilience and operational observability tools (Splunk, Prometheus, Kafka, Chaos tooling)
  • Understanding of high-availability architectures, redundancy, backup/restore strategies
  • Experience in large-scale, complex technology implementations or changes
  • Proven ability to write clear NFT test approaches and cases
  • Experience introducing early NFT (shift-left) practices
  • Ability to translate test results for non-specialists and advise on priorities
  • Hands-on experience with agile development practices, DevOps pipelines, CI/CD, and test automation
  • Cross-functional collaboration
