North American SOX Compliance Manager

Lead North American SOX compliance and internal controls for Magna Powertrain, coordinating testing, certifications, remediation, and audit follow-up.

This manager oversees Magna Powertrain’s North American compliance processes and internal control assessments. The work spans SOX 404, US GAAP, IT remediation, internal audits, and new-entity integration. You will coordinate divisions, management, Internal Audit, and Magna’s Compliance department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage SOX testing and internal control assessments
• Coordinate quarterly 302 certification processes across divisions
• Lead internal audit follow-up reviews and action plans
• Direct IT remediation timelines and deliverables
• Guide new-entity compliance and SOX documentation

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field
• CPA designation required
• Seven to ten years’ relevant manufacturing experience
• Knowledge of US GAAP and SOX 404
• Ability to travel approximately 25% domestically and internationally
