Nuclear Workforce Deployment Coordinator

Coordinate nuclear clearance and plant access for employees supporting Darlington and Pickering projects. Use administrative, organizational, and communication skills across Ontario locations.

The Workforce Deployment Coordinator supports CanAtom, a joint venture between AtkinsRéalis and Aecon. You will manage OPG Security Clearance applications, renewals, access requests, and onboarding documentation. The work supports nuclear in-processing for employees assigned to the Darlington and Pickering Nuclear Generating Stations. Success requires accurate records, effective communication, and organized coordination across employees, subcontractors, potential new hires, and project teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Initiate OPG Security Clearance applications for assigned workers
• Verify identification and supporting clearance documentation
• Track renewals and confirm active clearance status
• Coordinate access requests and radiological access forms
• Facilitate TLD verification and visitor badging requirements

Requirements:

• One to two years of related administrative experience
• Knowledge of project management concepts
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
• Ability to prioritize concurrent assignments and meet deadlines
• Strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills
