Locums - Medford, Wisconsin, OB/GYN Opening (IMLC Accepted)

Job Duration:

  • Coverage needed throughout calendar year 2027.

Schedule:

  • No call responsibilities.

  • Clinic hours: 8:00 AM-5:00 PM.

  • Alternating monthly coverage options:

    • 1st and 3rd weeks, or

    • 2nd and 4th weeks.

Monthly Schedule:

  • One Monday per month: Full surgery day.

  • Tuesday and Wednesday: Clinic in Medford.

  • One additional Monday per month: Half surgery day and half clinic day in Phillips.

  • Tuesday and Wednesday: Clinic in Medford.

Patient Volume & Visit Types:

  • Most visits involve surgical consultations and cases outside the Nurse Practitioner's scope of practice.

  • Some general OB/GYN visits may also be included.

  • Daily patient volume varies from very few visits to approximately 7 patients per day.

  • Procedures vary and may include gynecologic surgeries, including hysterectomies.

Facility Details:

  • No birthing center.

  • Trauma Level IV.

  • Hospital Stroke Certified.

  • EMR: Epic.

Required Skills:

  • Office/Minor Gynecology: IUD placement, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP, and related procedures.

  • Surgical Gynecology: Laparoscopic diagnostic and minor procedures, including tubal ligation, lysis of adhesions (LOA), and tubal cannulation.

Requirements:

  • Active Wisconsin medical license or IMLC accepted.

  • BLS certification.
